Another great book by Susan May! The end was a surprise I Didn’t see that coming. There are 2 narrators in this book and I came to care about both which surprised me. Emotions and how we control them are very important in this book much like they were in her previous book The Troubles Keeper. I think making William Barnes a writer was a good choice because writing for the most part still seems to be glamorized, the hard parts aren’t always brought up. I can’t wait for Susan’s next book.

Thank you Susan for letting me read an advance copy! I LOVED this book because it pretty much starts in the middle of the action. It also is a page turner. It’s very shocking most of the time. For most of the book I had no idea what was going to happen. I like that a lot. Susan May should be famous. Everything about this book is solid. Her characters are amazing so fleshed out. I really came to care about them all. that’s a mark of a great writer in my opinion. the story goes places that a lot of these kinds of stories don’t go. I highly recommend this book to anyone. Especially those of you who like murder mystery or crime fiction in general.

I love this book! You’ve done it again Susan! Rory is amazing all of your characters are. Please write a second book or more, I NEED to know what happens to them all! I wish more people were like Rory, Mariana and Daniel in this world. There are sadly not enough. I figured out who did it before the story ended but it’s ok because you put so many twists in that there was doubt. I really wish troubles keepers were real. At least they exist in your book so thank you for that.
